So…what does it mean to be STRONG? 🤷
You can be strong in many, many ways and all of them can help you.
You can have muscles to lift and carry heavy things.
You can be clever and do well in class you enjoy.
You can also be MENTALLY strong. With a strong brain and strong heart. If you don’t know what that means, don’t worry. A lot of adults are not quite sure what it means either.
But together with your parents, you can build this strength here.
If you can work on building your mental strength every day, you can become even more amazing - your best self. Like a superhero!
To build your mental strength muscle and become more mentally strong, you need to pay attention to three things:
1) The way you THINK
2) The way you FEEL
3) The way you ACT
Thinking big, feeling good and acting brave will all help you develop bigger mental muscles.
And when you have stronger mental muscles, it is easier to think big, feel great and act brave.
Just think about how amazing that would feel! 😜
What are you thinking about right now? How is that making you feel right now? How is that making you act?
Write that down on a piece of paper or in a journal and be sure to put today’s date on it.
Let’s talk more next Sunday and between now and then, try to be aware of what you are thinking, how you are feeling and the way you are acting during the week.
